What I make

Off the clock

Paloma’s drawing table in daylight, with pots of gouache, brushes and open sketchbooks

I grew up in Puebla, studied graphic design in Mexico City and have worked from a rented room in Colonia Roma since 2019. This is what is on the table when I am not on a deadline.

On the drawing table

A muffin tin of gouache, three brushes I am not allowed to wash, and a paper sample of next month’s green.

Sketchbook

Number 47. I start a new one when the spine gives up. Number 31, the one full of tortoises, is still the best.

Sunday market

The flower stalls at Mercado de Jamaica. Same stall every week, mostly marigolds, always too many.

Listening to

Slowed-down cumbia in the morning, a radio play about a night bus in the afternoon.

Got a box, a wall or a brand that needs colour?

Booking from March 2027. I reply within two working days.
